October 30, 2023: Cooler Than The Other Pillow

I had one of those contour memory foam pillows for awhile, but Jane told me it was too stinky to keep. So, I went back to the Japanese buckwheat style. I don't know why I ever left.

I'm a bit picky about my pillows. What kind do you have? What kind do you hate (any soft ones for me)?

  1. Saturday, Glendale lost to the Salt River Rafters 5-4 in a seven-inning game. I don't know why they only played seven, if there was bad weather or if it was simply by mutual agreement. Kala'i Rosario was 2-for-3 with a home run, his sixth. No other Twins played.

  2. I have the neck ergonomic pillow as well, with a zip-up dust cover inside the pillow case. When I travel, I can make do with most pillows, but you can keep the flat/thin ones.

  3. Recently upgraded from crummy store-brand pillow to mid-range store-brand pillow. I feel like super high pillows don't work well for me, but otherwise I'm not picky.

  4. I use a firm foam pillow for my head and a squishy one to hold.

My wife uses four pillows minimum. One for her head, one to hold, a body pillow for her back, another pillow behind her legs. She uses more sometimes, and I'm not sure where they go

    1. I use whatever pillow is within reach, but your description of your wife's pillow habits sound incredibly familiar.

    2. Thicker one under my head, long one between my knees, regular one under my top arm (I am a side sleeper).

  5. I love my buckwheat pillow, too. I typically sleep with one arm over my head, underneath the pillow. The weight is as comforting as the support. I’ve been thinking I’m due to change the cover, however.

I’ve also taken to using a body pillow as weight loss & anatomical entropy have disrupted my sleep over the last few years.
