I was going to ask if there was any chance of a prospect-type player (heh, had to do it) getting called up to replace Carroll, but I see Wilkin Ramirez was tabbed. Probably a good idea to get another outfielder on the roster, but I would have liked to see someone else get a shot.
Ramirez hasn't exactly been tearing up the track in New Britain, either. 5-for-29 with one double, and three of the hits came in one game almost a week ago (1-for-21 since). I know, small sample size, but it'd be nice to have seen a little more evidence that he's actually ready to play before they brought him back.
