Twins: Eddie Rosario played but did not bat. Trevor May pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and no walks with one strikeout.
Mesa: Albert Almora (Cubs) was 2-for-5 with a run. Ryan Dull (Oakland) struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up no hits and one walk.
Glendale: Danny Black (Miami) was 2-for-4 with two runs. Yorman Rodriguez (Cincinnati) was 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI. Jamie Walczak (Cincinnati) pitched five shutout innings, allowing no hits and one walk with four strikeouts.
The game: In the second, Rodriguez circled the bases on a single-and-error to give Glandale a 2-0 lead. Jared Mitchell hit a two-run double in the seventh to make it 4-0. Mesa did not get a hit until the eighth, but when they got started they didn't want to stop, coming up with four in the eighth to tie the score. In the eleventh, Colin Moran (Miami) led off with a double and scored on a single by Travis Mattair (Cincinnati) to win it for Glendale.

SALT RIVER 4, SCOTTSDALE 2 IN SALT RIVER
Scottsdale: Alex Dickerson (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one. Cory Vaughn (Mets) was 2-for-4 with a double. Aderlin Rodriguez (Mets) was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Salt River: Richie Shaffer (Tampa Bay) was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Bo Schultz (Arizona) pitched five innings, allowing two runs on nine hits and no walks with two strikeouts.
The game: Salt River opened the game with three walks, followed by a Kyle Parker (Colorado) two-run single and a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0. Scottsdale got single runs in the fourth and fifth to make it 3-2, but Salt River got one back in the bottom of the fifth on an error. The last twelve Scottsdale batters were retired, and seven of the last eight struck out.
SURPRISE 14, PEORIA 5 IN PEORIA
Surprise: Travis Shaw (Boston) was 4-for-5 with a walk and a double, scoring twice and driving in one. Jonathan Schoop (Baltimore) was 3-for-3 with two walks and a home run (his third), scoring twice. Joe Wendle (Cleveland) was 2-for-4 with a walk and a home run, driving in three.
Peoria: Jorge Bonafacio (Kansas City) was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
The game: Aided by three walks and a hit batsman, Surprise scored four in the first. Peoria came back with three in the second on a bases loaded single-and-error by Delino DeShields. Surprise got two more walks and another hit batsman in the third to get four more runs and this time they never looked back, eventually building a 13-3 lead.
