There's a game tonight, start of a big homestand, and that's about all I have time to tell you.

Well, Hughes got the obligatory home run out of the way early tonight.
Remember, solo home runs don't hurt you...
I am loving the glitter Twins logo
Me, too.
Well, that's a very Hughesian start.
Whoa! that was a blast by Hunter!
Torii!!!!
Aaron!!!!
AaHRon Hicks!!!!!!
The last time the Twins hit two ore more home runs in a game was June 27 against Milwaukee.
If only they were the type that hurt.
It seems like there have been a lot of games lately--and not just Twins games--where there's been a lot of complaining about the strike zone. I don't know if the plate umpires are worse, if TV technology has revealed more errors, or if teams are just complaining more.
It seems like it's a lot easier to wiggle when you're able to strike a guy or two out.
HUMAN PEZ DISPENSER!!
sorry, any Chen just does that to me, not just Bruce
What, that isn't Bruce Chen?!!?!?
Sadly, he retired at the beginning of the year.
When does the all star vote end?
Please let it be tomorrow.
Not until we're just straight up voting for the game winner.
Oh, Provus/Atteberry booth -- nice
Joe, crazy like a fox!
Hey hey! a bunt that worked!
Yay an actual centerfielder!
HICKS-O-RIFFIC!!
HOLY COWS AARON HICKS!!!!
Willie Mays-esque catch!
Not a catch, but needs to watch this clip every once in a while to feel good
httpv://youtu.be/FDSx-Aoiz4E
That was an unbelievable catch by Hicks. I don't know how many catches I've seen where the fielder didn't watch it for that length of time.
Wouldn't it be awesome if it worked out that we could have Hicks and Buxton in the same outfield?
Yes please.
If Arcia could start buying again, that would be a nice couple of guys to have out there to make up for his lack of fielding prowess.
Or Kepler, perhaps?
Or Rosario.
Indeed. For some reason I always forget about him.
I think i kind of like this Sano guy.
Oh.
Swing up, stupid.
I was going with the glass half empty of "well that could have been worse."
Well that was supposed to be in response to JeffA.
#SwingUpSano
Make it trending on teh Twitters.
I'm on it
That inning turned out better than it might have.
I'm feeling a Sano HR this inning.
It could still happen with an eight-run inning!
Unfortunately, it was just an itch.
gameday thought that fourth pitch was just off the black.
I notice that MauerwithPauer has a lower average and no more HRs than the actual Mauer. Huh.
To be fair, he only came back from TJ surgery in June.
We're in the bullpen. *rolls up sleeves* Let's go to work, boys...
so, maybe a Sano walkoff?
I think I'd be able to hear target field from the people's republic if that happened.
Perkins is just nasty this year, it seems like.
And we need to get him his first W of the year.
Well he did make the all star game.
Yeah, but he seems even nastier this year than any other.
b-bu-bu-but not a save situation!?
also, bottom of the order. I love Perk and all, but maybe not the right situation? Unless he's gonna go 2 if necessary.
Molitors probably a little wary after last night.
Nolasco to get ankle surgery.
Ugh. What a signing.
Makes roster decisions easier at least.
And eliminates one more obstacle this year for Berrios.
A Sano walkoff would be super awesome.
#SwingUpSano!
Though that's a heck of a walk.
Yeah, I feel like this guy is gonna be alright.
Been watching too much Mauer.
Gaaah. Now I gotta go take burgers off the grill. Make. It. Happen. Hicksy!
I do like sending in May. I hope he had enough time to warm up that he could go four innings.
Bulldozed!
BALLGAME!!
I think that might be my first spookying of the season.
BOOM!! BULLDOZED!!
I guess Dozier really wants that last AS game spot.
I would say he deserves it.
Most definitely. He won't get it, but still....
Maybe if Royals fans get behind him?
See Trevor? Easy win, no problem. This bullpen thing isn't too difficult
Damn.
Clearly I turned in at the right time.
Plouffe distracted Dozier and Marney so they both get wet from the Gatorade bath.

Oh, goodness, I love that.
I didn't know I had that much influence.
O'Rourke has been used as a LOOGY a lot even in the minors, so that's the role I'd expect him to have with the Twins. He's been pretty good at it, this year's numbers notwithstanding.
