Rochester—No games scheduled.

Altoona 11, New Britain 10 in Altoona (10 innings).  The Rock Cats led by 6-1, 8-5, and 10-8, but could not hold those leads.  The Curve scored three runs in the bottom of the tenth on one hit, three walks, a hit batsman, and two sacrifice flies to win the game.  Mark Dolenc had four hits.  Chris Herrmann and Nate Hanson each had two singles and a homer, with Herrmann driving in three.  Deibinson Romero had two singles and a double.  Chris Parmelee singled and doubled and Danny Rohlfing had two hits. Liam Hendriks allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk in five innings.  Tyler Robertson struck out three in 2.1 scoreless innings of relief.  Blake Martin gave up a hit, two walks, and a hit batsman in a third of an inning to take the loss.  The Rock Cats made four errors.

Jupiter 3, Ft. Myers 2 in Jupiter.  Matt Hauser walked in the winning run in the ninth, one of three walks he issued in the inning.  Tom Stuifbergen went seven strong innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six in seven innings.  Jon Goncalves had two hits.

Beloit 6, Cedar Rapids 5 in Beloit.  The Snappers led 6-1 after eight and held on for the win.  Jairo Perez singled and homered, raising his average to .308.  B. J. Hermsen got the win, giving up just one run on seven hits and no walks in seven innings.  Jose Gonzalez allowed two hits but no runs in two-thirds of an inning to get the save.

DSL Twins 6, Orioles 2 at Twins (Game 1—Scheduled 7 innings).  A three-run third gave the Twins all the runs they needed.  Javier Pimentel homered to lead the Twins.  Yorman Landa allowed two unearned runs on two hits and a walk in four innings.  Francisco Nunez got the win with three perfect innings of relief, striking out seven of the nine batters he faced.  Nunez has yet to allow an earned run, striking out 21 in 12.2 innings this season.

DSL Twins 11, Orioles 1 at Orioles (Game 2—Scheduled 7 innings).  The Twins scored seven in the second and four in the sixth.  They had only nine hits but received eleven walks.  Adonis Pacheco singled and tripled, driving in four.  Joel Polanco singled and doubled.  Melcaides De La Cruz gave up a run on four hits in four innings.  Jose Vasquez pitched two perfect innings and was credited with the win.

Rochester 6, Toledo 1 in Toledo.  The Red Wings scored five in the seventh to take the victory.  Scott Diamond pitched six shutout innings, giving up six hits and no walks to get the win.  Glen Perkins worked two shutout innings of relief, giving up three hits and no walks.  Dustin Martin was 3-for-3 with two walks.  Mike Hollimon singled and doubled.  Tsuyoshi Nishioka was 0-for-4 with a walk.

New Britain 10, Altoona 4 in Altoona.  The Rock Cats built a 7-0 lead after two innings.  Evan Bigley had a double and two singles, driving in three.  Yangervis Solarte had two hits to raise his average to .326.  Chris Herrmann and Chris Parmelee each had two hits.  Steve Hirschfeld got the win, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk in five innings.  Tony Davis pitched two perfect innings of relief to drop his ERA to 1.38.  Deolis Guerra struck out three in one scoreless inning.

Jupiter 6, Ft. Myers 0 in Jupiter.  The Hammerheads scored in five of their eight times at bat.  Steve Liddle was 3-for-3 and Derek McCallum had two hits; no other Miracle player had a hit.  Kane Holbrooks took the loss, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk in four innings.

Cedar Rapids 3, Beloit 1 in Beloit (Game 1—Scheduled 7 innings).  The Kernels scored two in the third and it was all they needed.  The Snappers had only two hits.  Manuel Soliman gave up two runs on three hits and three walks in five innings.

Beloit 4, Cedar Rapids 0 in Beloit (Game 2—Scheduled 7 innings).  The Snappers scored two in the fourth and two in the fifth.  Danny Ortiz had a pair of doubles.  Wang-wei Lin had two hits.  Ryan O’Rourke struck out eight in five innings, walking none while giving up three hits.  Clinton Dempster struck our four in two innings, walking one while giving up no hits.

DSL Twins 12, White Sox 6 at Twins.  The Twins scored five in the fourth to break a 4-4 tie.  The Twins had only eight hits, but drew eight walks and benefitted from four White Sox errors.  Javier Pimentel had three hits and drove in three.  Ernesto Ciprian had two hits.  Starter Randy Rosario pitched three innings, giving up a run on a hit and four walks.  Elias Villasana got the win; he worked 2.2 innings, giving up no hits but one run on five walks.  Carlos Suarez gave up a run on three hits and no walks in 2.2 innings to get the save.

Toledo 2, Rochester 1 in Toledo.  The Mud Hens scored two in the fourth and it was all they needed.  Tsuyoshi Nishioka had two of the four Red Wings hits.  Jeff Bailey had the other two, a single and a double.  Kyle Gibson took a tough loss, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out six in six innings.  Carlos Gutierrez struck out two in two perfect innings.

Ft. Myers 5, Bradenton 3 in Ft. Myers.  The Miracle scored three in the first and never lost the lead.  Nick Romero singled and doubled, while Ramon Santana hit a home run.  Joe Mauer was 1-for-4 and scored once.  Logan Darnell got the win, giving up three runs on seven hits and a walk in 5.2 innings.  Jhon Garcia struck out five in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up three hits but no walks.  Matthew Tone walked one in a scoreless ninth to get the save.

DSL Diamondbacks 1, Twins 0 at Twins.  Two singles and an error led to a Diamondbacks run in the first inning and it was all they needed.  The Twins managed only three singles and one walk.  Jose Jimenez took the loss, giving up an unearned run on three hits while striking out four in four innings.  Yeison Florentino gave up two hits in three shutout innings and Ezequiel Zarzuela gave up one hit in two shutout innings.  Twins pitchers did not walk anyone in the game.

Toledo 6, Rochester 3 in Toledo.  The Mud Hens scored three in the first and the Red Wings never caught up.  Aaron Bates had two singles and a double, raising his average to .355.  Tsuyoshi Nishioka singled and doubled.  Eric Hacker surrendered all six runs on nine hits and two walks in 4.2 innings.  Jake Stevens pitched 2.1 innings of scoreless relief, giving up just one hit.

Erie 2, New Britain 0 in New Britain.  Chris Cates had two doubles, which was half of the Rock Cats hit total.  Dennis Suarez worked seven strong innings, giving up one run on three hits and two walks, but took a tough loss.

Bradenton 7, Ft. Myers 3 in Ft. Myers.  The Mets scored three runs in the last two innings to put the game away.  Steve Liddle had three hits.  Edgar Ibarra allowed four runs (two earned) on ten hits and a walk in five innings.  Ricky Bowen pitched two shutout innings, giving up no hits but two walks.

Beloit 7, Lake County 2 in Beloit.  Andrew Achter struck out six in six shutout innings, giving up three hits and three walks.  Wang-wei Lin singled and doubled.  Jairo Perez had two hits.

Rochester 11, Toledo 5 in Toledo.  The Red Wings scored six in the first and never looked back.  Danny Lehmann had four hits and drove in three.  Jeff Bailey singled, doubled, and homered, scoring three times.  Steve Singleton had two doubles and a single, raising his average to .308. Chase Lambin doubled and homered, scoring three times, Mike Hollimon doubled and tripled, and Toby Gardenhire had two hits.  Glen Perkins pitched a scoreless first inning, allowing one hit.  Kyle Waldrop got the win with two shutout innings of relief, striking out two.

Erie 8, New Britain 2 in New Britain.  The SeaWolves scored five in the seventh to put the game away.  Danny Rohlfing had two hits.  Brett Jacobson gave up two runs on five hits and four walks in five innings.  Deolis Guerra took the loss, surrendering six runs (four earned) on five hits and a walk in two innings. Blake Martin threw two shutout innings of relief.

Bradenton 5, Ft. Myers 4 in Bradenton (11 innings).  Aaron Hicks was 3-for-3 with three doubles and three walks.  Steve Liddle and Ramon Santana each singled and doubled.  Nick Romero hit a home run.  Matt Schuld allowed four runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk in six innings, striking out five.  Andrew Albers threw three shutout innings, giving up just one hit.  Matt Hauser allowed a run on six hits and a walk in 1.1 innings to take the loss.

Beloit 6, Lake County 1 in Beloit.  The Snappers scored three in the third and three in the fourth.  Pat Dean pitched 6.2 hitless innings, giving up just two walks and striking out nine, before being removed due to his pitch count.  Wang-wei Lin doubled and homered and Danny Ortiz doubled and singled.

DSL Padres 4, Twins 3 at Padres.  The Padres scored two in the eighth and one in the ninth to overcome a 3-1 deficit.  Jose Ramirez had two hits.  Felix Jorge gave up one run on two hits and a walk in three innings.  Jose Abreu worked four shutout innings, giving up four hits but no walks.  Ezequiel Zarzuela pitched the ninth and took the loss, allowing a run on three hits in a third of an inning.
