VENEZUELAN LEAGUE

Aragua 11, Magallanes 6 in Magallanes.  Pedro Guerra gave up a run on five hits while striking out four in three innings for Magallanes.

Caracas 3, Anzoategui 2 in Caracas (11 innings).  Lester Oliveros pitched a scoreless inning for Anzoategui, giving up two hits while striking out two.

AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE

Sydney 4, Brisbane 3 in Sydney (Game 1--15 innings--completion of suspended game).  Rory Rhodes was 0-for-5 with a walk for Brisbane.  Jacob Younis was 0-for-4 with a walk for Sydney.

Brisbane 6, Sydney 4 in Sydney (Game 2).  Rory Rhodes was 0-for-4 for Brisbane.  Jacob Younis was 0-for-4 for Sydney.  Todd Van Steensel allowed a run on one hit in one inning for Sydney.

DOMINICAN LEAGUE

Oriente 6, Licey 5 in Oriente.  Esmerling Vasquez gave up a run on two hits, retiring no one, for Oriente.

Este 13, Cibao 4 in Cibao.  Wilkin Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in two for Este.  Estarlin De Los Santos pinch-hit and went 0-for-1 for Cibao.

Aguilas 7, Escogido 6 in Escogido (12 innings).  Luis Perdomo worked two perfect innings for Aguilas.  Deibinson Romero was used as a reserve for Escogido and walked in his only plate appearance.

MEXICAN LEAGUE

Mazatlan 3, Culiacan 2 in Mazatlan.  Anthony Slama made his debut for Mazatlan and got the save, walking one in a scoreless inning.

PUERTO RICAN LEAGUE

Ponce 3, Caguas 1 in Caguas.  Angel Morales was used as a substitute by Ponce but did not bat.  Aaron Bates was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI for Caguas.  Dereck Rodriguez was used as a pinch-runner by Caguas but did not bat.

Mayaguez 4, Carolina 1 in Mayaguez.  Eddie Rosario was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Mayaguez.

VENEZUELAN LEAGUE

Aragua 6, Caracas 4 in Aragua.  Jose Mijares got the win for Aragua, retiring the final four batters of the game, two by strikeout.

Anzoategui 4, Magallanes 1 in Magallanes.  Lester Oliveros gave up a hit and a walk but no runs in two-thirds of an inning for Anzoategui.  Deolis Guerra allowed two unearned runs on three hits and two walks in 1.2 innings for Magallanes.

AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE

Brisbane 1, Sydney 0 (2 innings--suspended).  Rory Rhodes walked in his only plate appearance for Brisbane.  Jacob Younis is in the starting lineup for Sydney but has not batted yet.
