Wheeler

Valdez
Game in progress. I read the Astros have yet to win a Game 6 while the Phillies have never played in a Game 7.

7:03 p.m. on FOX. I appreciate the slightly more reasonable starting times. I believe they used to start closer to 8 Central a decade ago so starting at 8 Eastern now is convenient.
What a game last night and what a game the night before. I'm pleased this series will go at least six games now. A couple more close games should cement this as a solid Series overall.
Cristian Javier
vs
Aaron Nola
First pitch at 7:03 p.m.
No bullpen game for the Phillies now as they get to user their #1 starter. It's like a throwback to the four-man rotation where your #1 would pitch three times in the Series.

Game says it will start at 7:03 p.m. on Fox. Astros are heavy favorites. I'm hoping the series goes the full seven games because this is it for MLB baseball for the year.

The season mercifully comes to an end. The postseason starts this Friday with four games each day through Sunday.
The 2022 Twins were projected for about 82-80 and will finish at either 77-85 or 78-84. The 2021 Twins were projected at 88-74 but finished 73-89. They played at a 69-win pace from June onward. They are 9-9 versus the White Sox. A win today keeps them above .500 in the division while a loss puts them at exactly .500.
