Rangers vs. Tigers, Brewers vs. Cardinals (1982 World Series rematch!). Who saw that coming? Okay, The Dread Pirate did, but before the season?

October 7, 2011: Yankees Suck
So, the first two teams to go down in the postseason are the two AL East teams. Well, huh.
ALDS Decider: Tigers at Yankees
Doug Fister vs. Ivan Nova. If that's not a matchup to let your season ride on, what is?!
Captain Cheeseburger, apparently, may be available. Verlander apparently is not. This might be step one for the amazing, world-beating Yankee comeback that allows Girardi to change his uniform number again.
I know this is a bit early, but I have a feeling I'm going to forget otherwise, so here you go.
October 6, 2011: Apple
It's a post-Steve Jobs world. I hear a lot of people bumming about the fact that he was only 56, but who did more with 56? I look forward to the documentaries about him.
NLDS Games 4
Uphill battles for the Cardinals and Diamondbacks tonight.
Phillies at Cardinals
Roy Oswalt vs. Edwin Jackson
Brewers at Diamondbacks
Randy Wolf vs. Joe Saunders
Fun and by fun we mean useless Fact: ERAs for the four starters tonight are 3.69, 3.79, 3.69 and 3.69.
Fun Fact II: Phillies and Brewers wins here would produce a rematch of the 1982 World Series. How many guys from those teams are still on those teams? I'm thinking less than ten.
October 5, 2011: Chase Field
That was a hell of a game, right?
I don't know, maybe it wasn't. I wrote this two hours before the game.
Division Series – Games three and four
Three series could end today. Or, maybe none will.
Rangers at Rays
Harrison vs. Hellickson
Phillies at Cardinals
Hamels vs. Garcia
Yankees at Tigers
Burnett vs. Porcello
Brewers at Diamondbacks
Marcum vs. Collmenter
I'll be at the late game. I'm looking forward to being in a full house for the first time since the 2006 ALDS.
October 3, 2011: 34
It's a birthday celebration at the Casa de Leche. I suggest a Kelly Wells film festival!
October 2, 2011: Meh
Those games yesterday sure didn't live up to the last day of the regular season. Oh well.
September 30, 2011: ALDS
Today we start our yearly cheering against the Yankees in the playoffs.
