My mom leaves today after five brutally quick days in Arizona. I'm sure I'll need another Minnesota fix soon.

As I type this, I'm in the middle of Catching Fire despite near-total apathy toward The Hunger Games. I guess I'm just bored.

For whatever reason, this day off feels like the first in weeks. My feet need it.

My mom is here for the next five days for my requisite connection to home. Unfortunately, this time of year it's difficult to get time off from work, so we'll see how much I actually get to see her.

Tonight's the annual event where we host video game tournaments for dorm dwellers at Luke Air Force Base. I'm running it this year, which should be fun (though I was told this yesterday, so I'm a tad overwhelmed at the moment).

...for the lull between busy weeks, when customers beg me to honor Black Friday prices.
