My scheduled eight-hour shift turned into a twelve-hour shift yesterday on my first day back. I know some of y'all do that on a regular basis, but on the first day after a long break, that was a hell of a thing.

Back to work after four days hanging with my best friend. I already can't wait for my next couple of days off so I can continue the job search with my full attention.

Four days off seem far too fast when your best friend's in town.
