Just one more blackout day before I have to start watching this team again.

September 3, 2011: Der Weekend
Is this coffeemaker on? The light is on. I can't tell.
September 2, 2011: L.A. Hootenanny
I saw a band called L.A. Hootenanny last night at Villains Tavern. My brother-in-law is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, and I knew he'd be awesome, but the show was incredible. The band's lead guitarist was the most famous guy I met today, but this was lost on me during my conversation with him since I've never seen "True Blood," and had to find out from someone else.
September 1, 2011: The Dregs of August
How can the Twins follow August's 21-loss performance?
August 31, 2011: The Other Foot
Normally I start freaking out about the offseason around this time, but I feel like I'm ready for a break from these Twins.
August 30, 2011: You Can Take It Down Now
There's a billboard here in LA from that group that warns of "the impending May 21st, 2011 apocalypse as proven in the Bible." It's time to stop paying to renew that billboard, guys.
August 29, 2011: Opportunity
Stuff that started moving in the right direction yesterday: an opportunity to get a short film made, and an opportunity to teach acting - both the creative side and the cutthroat side - to kids through Spookymilk Survivor. And get paid.
August 28, 2011: Back in LA
I don't expect it to be long. It's a long story, but as I fall more out of love with acting and more in love with writing, it's not important for me to be right here in LA incurring expenses as I work toward a deal.
August 27, 2011: One
...is the loneliest number, so why the hell are the Twins so married to it? I asked offhand last night, and Sean mentioned that this ties the record (5) for a team scoring exactly one run in consecutive games. Um, congratulations?
August 26, 2011: Goodbye, Taters
You weren't really one of us, but you'll be missed.
