Unfortunately, there weren't too many videos from back in the day that captured her as she deserved (audio is pretty crappy all around too). Here's one more classic (with better audio, and a little less wooden performance) that we obviously couldn't lead with, but deserves mention all the same.

I can't remember who told me to listen to her, but she was way outside of what I normally listened to. I just loved her voice, and for whatever reason was thinking about her tonight. I guess she runs a yoga studio downtown now? Anyway, here's a recent recording of her playing the eponymous song from her first record.

One of the guys who worked there had a pretty vast collection of music and he turned me on to a lot of different bands that were really important in forming my tastes. Shonen Knife was one of those bands, so Let's Knife!
