Anyone got any special projects underway this weekend? Yesterday I infused vodka with jalapenos (tasty!) and started a jar of lilac sugar.

Somewhat pertinent question: how do you tear up a patch of ground for replanting? If you don't have the machinery, is it just with shovels, pickaxes, etc?
