Mark Maron told me to listen to Mr. Vile, and now I'm making you listen to Mr. Vile. I'm not entirely sold on his sound, but I will say that he's got an interesting mix of dylan and lou reed in his voice.
yeah, sure, OK go is a gimmicky band, but their gimmicks amuse me regardless. here they are helping NPR's tiny desk series move their offices to the new HQ in 223 takes.

Holy Cats, these folks make a lot of noise, but the competing elements are glued together by Teal Gardner's voice. I wasn't a huge fan of their initial release, but their newest album The Trusted Language is excellent.
