Me too.
Live version
Last live show I attended was Cold War Kids at First Ave. My ID was expired but besides that nonsense that it was a fantastic show. They were touring this album and like everyone they have another pandemic LP coming out soon. This isn't my favorite of their songs but seems appropriate. There was a time that I pretty much only listened to CWK and Bloc Party and it was great.
Bonus favorite song.
Annie has a new album and a new shtick.

I got to wondering if Thao (of Thao and the Get Down Stay Down) had been up to anything interesting lately. Turns out, she has.
I'm posting this for the first song, but I'm certainly not going to stop you from listening to this whole performance.
Book pairing: The Best We Could Do: An Illustrated Memoir by Thi Bui.
Without question, I listened to more Taylor Swift in 2020 than I have in any preceding year. And this is 100% my favorite song from folklore.
New music from the Chicago trio.
It can be...difficult to find proper ToD live clips, since their lead singer can be a bit grating. This one is pretty good, though (different lead singer!), and the new album is really solid all the way through.
I thought these guys were on their last legs a few years ago, but they keep going strong.
A certain Citizen has been out here in the streets (properly distanced) telling everyone about this band, and I can see why. This album slaps.
I will be running not walking to pick this album up.
