MUD HENS 6, SAINTS 0 IN TOLEDO

Leading 3-0, Toledo scored three in the eighth to put it out of reach.

St. Paul had just three hits.

Starter Cody Laweryson pitched two innings, giving up an unearned run on one hit and two walks and striking out one.
Andrew Bechtold pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk and striking out one.
Michael Boyle pitched a perfect inning.

TRAVELERS 10, WIND SURGE 7 IN WICHITA

Robbie Terenowicz hit a grand slam in the ninth to turn a 7-6 deficit into a 10-7 victory for Arkansas.

Alerick Soularie was 3-for-3 with a walk.
Alex Isola was 2-for-3 with a home run (his ninth), two walks, two runs, and three RBIs.

David Festa pitched five innings, giving up three runs on four hits and two walks and striking out eight.
Curtis Taylor retired all seven men he faced, striking out one.

KERNELS 6, SKY CARP 5 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Emmanuel Rodriguez hit a two-run triple in the fifth that put Cedar Rapids up 4-3 and they held the lead the rest of the way.  Beloit had the tying run on second with none out in the ninth, but could only advance him to third.

Rodriguez was 3-for-4 with a home run (his ninth), a triple, and three RBIs.
Misael Urbina was 2-for-4 with a home run (his third), a double, and two RBIs.
Jorel Ortega was 2-for-4 with a double.

Zebby Matthews pitched 3.2 innings, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk and striking out one.
Malik Barrington struck out four in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up two walks.

MIGHTY MUSSELS 2, TARPONS 0 IN TAMPA (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)

Both runs scored in the fourth.  Fort Myers had men on first and third with two out.  Two wild pitches resulted in one run and a man on third, and a passed ball brought home the second run.  TWINS BASEBALL!!!

Danny De Andrade was 2-for-4.

Andrew Morris pitched five shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk and striking out two.
A. J. Labas struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up a walk.

MIGHTY MUSSELS 7, TARPONS 6 IN TAMPA (GAME 2--9 INNINGS--SCHEDULED 7 INNINGS)

Fort Myers scored three in the seventh (a passed ball brought home the tying run) and Kamron Willman singled home the go-ahead run in the ninth.

Maddux Houghton was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs.
Rubel Cespedes was 2-for-4 with a double.
Ricardo Olivar hit a two-run homer, his sixth.

Jose Olivares pitched four innings, allowing five runs on six hits and a walk and striking out two.
Ricky Mineo pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, walking three and striking out one.
Gabriel Yanez struck out four in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit.

FCL TWINS 6, FCL RAYS 0 AT TWINS

The Twins scored two in the first, two in the sixth, and two in the eighth.  Two of the runs scored on wild pitches.

Jose Rodriguez was 4-for-4 with a walk.

Jack Noble struck out eight in 5.2 scoreless innings, giving up three hits and four walks.
Pierce Banks struck out three in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk.
Bianger Liendo struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.

DSL TWINS 12, DSL CARDINALS 9 AT CARDINALS (10 INNINGS)

The Twins scored three in the tenth to break a 9-9 tie.  They also scored two runs on wild pitches, but not in the tenth inning.

Jayson Bass was 4-for-5 with a double.
Javier Roman 
was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs.

The top of the Twins lineup sounds like some Twins from back in the day.  Lead off with Castro, followed by Silva and Bass.

Wichita is 27-35, in fourth place in the Texas League North, 12.5 games behind Arkansas and Tulsa.  They are 3.5 games behind third-place Springfield.
Cedar Rapids is 37-26 and has clinched first place for the first half.  They are six games ahead of Peoria and Quad Cities.
Fort Myers is 32-31, in third place in the Florida State League West, 10.5 games behind Clearwater.  They are two games behind second-place Bradenton.
The FCL Twins are 5-5, tied for second in the FCL South with the Red Sox.  They are 3.5 games behind the Pirates.
