Wolves @ LA Lakers 9:30pm

Last night's loss hurt. The Wolves are 2 games back for the 8th playoff slot and had a chance to cut it to a game behind Denver because they lost. I listened to bits and pieces of the game on the radio last night and things seems alright. Ridnour had 13 assists and 4 turnovers, but those 4 turnovers seemed to come at really bad times. JJ Barea seemed to have a bad game with 5 turnover. Paul Millsap had 8 steals and they all seemed like at the end of the game and overtime. Blarg.

Hopefully Kevin Love can go tonight, he hurt his thumb late in the game and had X-rays afterward. As of this writing, it seems like he is ok but the whole Twin Cities sports landscape has been snakebitten with injuries, one just never knows...a simple tweak turns out to be a broken everything it seems like.

Luke Ridnour has notched 32 assists to 11 turnovers since replacing Rubio.

Go Wolves

  1. The Blazers are really showing up tonight against the Bulls. It burns me to no end when I see players that play like garbage for 2 1/2 months for a coach suddenly turn it on the game after the coach they don't like is fired.

  2. Michael Beasley in a nutshell

    Jerry Zgoda ‏ @JerryZgoda
So what was Beas doing Thurs those final mins his fate was decided b4 trade deadline?: Watching cartoons, eating pizza and french fries...

  3. Gopher hockey on FSN right now, so i have a feeling we are going to join the Wolves in progress #pleasenoovertime

  4. I feel like the Lakers PxP dudes are about to break into discussing Derek Fisher's HOF-worthiness.

  5. Also, since Derek Fisher is acting like a baby and isn't reporting to Houston Jordan Hill can't suit up for the Lakers.

  6. that was an ok 1st. Bynum couldnt hit anything even was he was planted in the lane. The Wolves still cant guard Kobe (2 wide open 3's).

  7. In the last two weeks I've seen two new NBA Is BIG spots - one featuring Rubio, right after the ACL announcement, and one featuring the Nuggets with Nene posterizing Matt Barnes now right after Nene was traded.

    1. I loved how the fans booed Wes nudging Kobe on that layup, as if Kobe was taken out with a blunt object.

        1. check out his trade chart at the bottom of the page. its zany!

good gosh Kobe is locked in

          1. Fun fact that I learned indirectly from that page--Craig Smith is still in the league!

  8. I've had enough of this crap. I expect to hear about our spectacular comeback in the morning.

  9. Bryant drives me bananas. He's a complete jackass, a selfish chucker, and he gets away with offensive fouls like crazy. Of course on top of all this he murders the Wolves. Infuriating.

  10. the Wolves get so close to making it a real close game, then go 'one and done' 3 times in a row

  11. wow. Tom Hanneman with a jaw dropping stat. the Wolves have 6 wins all time playing the Lakers in LA. 6 wins in 20+ years! brutal
