    1. It took him 39 seconds of court time to commit a personal foul. Then he gets an assist about 30 seconds later. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

      1. On an unrelated note, I've been meaning to ask, what do you think of that Lydia Loveless record?

        1. I've just heard a couple songs. Pretty good, I guess, but didn't knock my socks off. It reminded me a bit of Neko's Furnace Room Lullabies.

I guess I prefer Sharon Van Etten.

          1. She is on my to do listen to list. Which album/ep should I start with?

          2. To expound, I go through phases in my listening. Rowdy country-punk just isn't on my playlist right now, not to say that is hasn't been, nor won't be again.

As one of the great, rowdy country-punk bands of all time once sang,

            Not forever, just for now

            1. While it hasn't been as nice here as it has been in the Twin Cities the weather has been nice enough to get in the car, roll down the windows and crank up some shit kickin' country as loud as I can. Once it is in the 30's again next week and I will be ready for some more appropriate tunes.

  1. 3 fouls in 19 seconds for the product of Buffalo City Schools, Lazar.

  2. aaand back. i should really start packing stuff before i pick up the truck tomorrow though...

      1. I don't care for the guy's game. Playing 35 minutes he is going to get his offensive numbers but there is quite the cost that comes with that. The dude is probably a worse defender than Jamal Crawford and turns the ball over like a half drunk Rubio.

I'll admit part of my disttate for him is based on his contact. Then again, to be fair, he isn't Derek Fisher so that is cool.

        1. He has been a disappointment this year, no doubt. But he was instrumental in Dallas' title run last year. I think he can be a valuable contributor here. At least I hope so...

          1. He is a player who can give you a good 10-12 minutes a night and provide some good scoring off of the bench, for sure. If he is going to play in the second unit though the Wolves already have scoring. SCB, Randolph, Derek Williams. All of those dudes can score. Next year, assuming SCB and Randolph are gone, he might be more useful but for now he doesn't really have a place on the team (pre-Rubio injury).

  3. Kevin Love cant hit that sixth 3 pointer. Tonight is the 6th time this year he has hit 5 in a game.

  4. I think Luke shot that 3 with 22 seconds left on the shot clock.

    1. oh, hey, buffalo: i might be in your city as briefly as i was last time coming up. maybe briefer. standby *kchhht*

    2. after a 2 week-7 game roadie, its probably the only clean clothes left in the suitcase.

  5. You cant leave Love open in the slot area. He makes his living behind the arc there.

    1. heh, as i mentioned, i want the pek! version, but it has to be custom for twice as much.

      1. If I could use my amazon mom account for free shipping I'd probably get drunk enough one night to buy it. At 9.99 for shipping though, no thanks.

  6. this is only the 7th 2-OT game in franchise history. First one since Nov 5 2008.

    1. Playing without Ricky and Pek, seventh game in a row on the road, losing in double OT to the best team in the league? Not crushing.

I am now rooting for Utah to be the 8th seed so we can get their 1st-rounder.

      1. Right. This was a great game by the Wolves. Should have won, yes, but these guys left it all out there tonight.

    1. agreed. The middle of the second quarter, it looked like the Wolves were going to be blown out of the water. but clawed back to make it close at the half.

dang! Looking at the box score OKC scored 20 in the second OT

  7. All things being equal this team hung tight for almost an hour with Tolliver/JJ/Ellington all playing 34+ minutes.

    1. Starting Center and starting PG out. The Wolves are going to be something special next season. We are watching the start of something special.

  8. I think there is a serious argument that says Love is a top 5 player in the league right now. I can think of 2-3 players I would rather build around--that is it. Dude is unbelievable.
