ROCHESTER

*Position player:  Matt Carson hit .293/.387/.435 in 92 at-bats.  Honorable mention:  Ben Revere hit .381/.418/.397 in 63 at-bats

Pitcher:  Anthony Slama was 0-0, 0.00 with 5 saves, a WHIP of 1.00, and 18 strikeouts in 11 innings.  Honorable mention:  Liam Hendriks was 3-0, 2.93, 1.04 WHIP, 24 strikeouts in 30 innings.

*Chris Parmelee has hit .452/ 575/.839 in 31 at-bats.

NEW BRITAIN

Position player:  Chris Herrmann hit .250/.307/.424 in 94 at-bats.  Honorable mention:  Chris Colabello hit .205/.250/.446 in 83 at-bats.

Pitcher:  B. J. Hermsen was 3-1, 2.68, 0.94 WHIP in 43.2 innings.  Honorable mention:  David Bromberg was 1-1, 1.52, 1.10 WHIP with 23 strikeouts in 23.2 innings.

FORT MYERS

Position player:  Oswaldo Arcia hit .358/.391/.578 in 109 at-bats.  Honorable mention:  Jairo Perez hit .280/.320/.398 in 93 at-bats

Pitcher:  Pat Dean was 4-0, 1.34, 1.19 WHIP in 33.2 innings.  Honorable mention:  Bruce Pugh was 1-1, 0.56 with 3 saves, a WHIP of 1.00, and 13 strikeouts in 16 innings.

BELOIT

*Position player:  Drew Leachman hit .281/.381/.396 in 96 at-bats.  Honorable mention:  Jonathan Goncalves hit .293/.369/.381 in 97 at-bats.

Pitcher:  Steven Gruver was 3-1, 1.83, 0.94 WHIP in 39.1 innings.  Honorable mention:  Matthew Tomshaw was 1-1, 0.93, 1.24 WHIP in 19.1 innings.

*Matthew Koch hit .326/.404/..630 in 46 at-bats.

    1. It's something that they're in first place. They've gotten good pitching and timely power, but there's really no one who's hitting for average or getting on base a lot.

      1. I noticed they're next-to-last in the league in OPS but still a little above average in scoring. They've definitely been getting some timely hitting.
