The Herrmannator continues to play well.

PHOENIX 13, PEORIA 3 IN PHOENIX

TwinsChris Herrmann was 1-for-3 with a walk and a double, scoring once.

Game summary:  The Devil Dogs scored eight runs in the first inning on the way to an easy victory.

Javelinas:  Billy Hamilton (Cincinnati) was 3-for-5 with an RBI.

Phoenix:  Josh Prince (Milwaukee) was 4-for-5.  Nick Ahmed (Atlanta) was 3-for-3 with a walk and a double, driving in four.  Max Stassi (Oakland) was 2-for-5 with a home run and drove in four.

MESA 12, SURPRISE 6 IN MESA

Game summary:  The Solar Sox scored five in the third to overcome a 4-0 deficit, then added three in the fifth to take the lead for good.

Surprise:  Darrell Ciciliani (Mets) and Bryce Brentz (Boston) were each 2-for-4 with a home run.

Mesa:  George Springer (Houston) was 2-for-3 with two walks, a triple, and a home run, driving in four.  Jonathan Shoop (Baltimore) was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs.

SCOTTSDALE 4, SALT RIVER 0 IN SCOTTSDALE

Game summary:  The Scorpions scored a pair of runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth.  Salt River had only three hits.

Salt River:  Andre Rienzo (White Sox) struck out five in three shutout innings.

Scottsdale:  David Adams (Yankees) was 2-for-2 with two walks.  Bobby Cassevah (Angels) worked three shutout innings.
