CANBERRA 7, SYDNEY 6 IN SYDNEY (10 INNINGS)

TwinsJaDamion Williams (Sydney) was 2-for-5 with an RBI.  Jacob Younis (Sydney) was used as a reserve and was 0-for-2.  Tim Atherton (Sydney) pitched 5.2 scoreless innings, giving up four hits and a walk and striking out four.

Game summary:  Trailing 6-1 after eight, Canberra scored five in the ninth and one in the tenth.  Kody Hightower delivered the game-winning RBI single.

Canberra:  Jack Murphy (Toronto) was 3-for-5 with two doubles, scoring twice and driving in one.  Hightower was 2-for-6 with two RBIs.

Sydney:  Zachary Shepherd (Detroit) was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.  Chris Snelling was 1-for-3 with a double and three walks, scoring once and driving in one.

ADELAIDE 10, MELBOURNE 9 IN ADELAIDE

TwinsJoshua Hendricks (Melbourne) was 1-for-5 and scored once.

Game summary:  Melbourne scored four in the first, Adelaide went up 9-4 after four, and Melbourne tied it at nine in the seventh.  Josh Cakebread delivered an RBI double in the ninth to win it for Adelaide.

Melbourne:  Josh Davies was 2-for-5 with two doubles, scoring twice and driving in two.  Carlo Testa (Kansas City) was 2-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring once and driving in two.

Adelaide:  Justin Howard (Pittsburgh) was 3-for-4 with a double and scored twice.  Angus Roeger was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk, scoring twice.

BRISBANE 5, PERTH 1 IN PERTH

Game summary:  Leading 3-1, Brisbane scored two in the eighth to put the game away.

Brisbane:  Jason Kilby pitched three shutout innings, giving up only two walks.  Cody Clark was 2-for-4 and scored twice.

Perth:  Carter Bell (Arizona) was 2-for-4.  Adam Melker (St. Louis) was 1-for-3 with a triple and two walks and scored once.
