Game summary:  Caracas scored two in the fifth to tie the score at three.  Renny Osuna tripled with two out in the tenth to drive in the go-ahead run.

Magallanes:  Osuna was 2-for-2.  Juan Rincon struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up no hits and one walk.

Caracas:  Jesus Guzman (San Diego) was 2-for-5 with an RBI.  Ramon Cabrera (Detroit) was 2-for-5 with a double and scored once.

ANZOATEGUI 5, LARA 2 IN ANZOATEGUI

Twins:  Oswaldo Arcia (Anzoategui) was 1-for-4.  Dakota Watts (Anzoategui) pitched two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk while striking out one.

Game summary:  Anzoategui scored single runs in five separate innings, leading 3-0 after four and 4-1 after six.

Lara:  Luis Valbuena was 2-for-4 and scored once.  Luis Jimenez was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk.

Anzoategui:  Andrew Baldwin pitched five shutout innings, allowing three hits and two walks.  Luis Nunez was 3-for-3 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in two.
