this weekend, my visiting mother brought a large trunk that was full of all kinds of crap i thought long gone. we're talking, like, high school sophomore year papers, old notebooks, etc. as someone that generally disdains nostalgia, it was an extremely disconcerting experience.

  1. Sheenie got a package in the mail on Friday full of clothes, roller skates, etc. that her parents decided to send up because they didn't know what to do with it. They also sent up a "painting" she created in first grade.

  2. I was visiting a friend who put on some Smashing Pumpkins a few days ago, so naturally I thought of you.

    1. i pretty much never listen to the pumpkins anymore (see: nostalgia), but it seemed the most appropriate backdrop for that sentiment.

  3. Longhair Billy Corgs is the best.
    This was a b-side from "I Am One"? What a letdown that would have been.
