Batting starsJeff Clement was 4-for-4 with a walk and two home runs (his eighth and ninth), driving in four.  Deibinson Romero was 2-for-4 with a walk and a home run (his fourth), scoring three times.  Antoan Richardson was 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI.

Pitching starAndrew Albers threw 101 pitches in a complete game shutout, giving up six hits and no walks while striking out seven.

Opposition stars:  Wirfin Obispo struck out four in three shutout innings, allowing one hit and no walks.  Tyler Pastornicky was 2-for-4.

Key inning:  The first.  The Red Wings scored seven times before the Braves came to bat.  Richardson led off with a single, went to second on a ground out, and scored on an Oswaldo Arcia single.  Romero walked and Clement hit a three-run homer.  Dan Rohlfing restarted the rally with a single and Doug Bernier doubled.  A ground out scored one more, Eric Fryer hit an RBI double, and Richardson got his second single of the inning to drive in the seventh run.

Key inning:  The tenth.  The score was tied at five.  Zach Jones came in to start the inning.  He struck out the first batter, but Jose Osuna hit a walkoff home run.

Opposition stars:  Lance McCullers struck out five in four shutout innings of relief, allowing no hits and two walks.  Carlos Correa was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.

Key inning:  The third.  The River Bandits trailed 1-0.  Ariel Ovando singled, Teoscar Hernandez doubled, and Jordan Scott hit a two-run triple to put Quad Cities ahead with none out.  Correa hit a one-out double to make it 3-1, and a ground out followed by a wild pitch made it 4-1.
