I had to put to sleep my old I-pod last weekend and get a new one. It was an 8-year old 32g video i-pod and I loved that .mp3 player. It was the perfect size and it fit about 7,500 songs. According to my records, It put out over 92,000 song plays. Unfortunately it had become pretty balky lately and even with a brand new battery, was unable to hold a charge. I got the 160g i-pod classic. I don't need nearly that much storage but my choices were limited. All my songs and -- more importantly -- play data was successfully moved to the new i-pod. However my 125 song GBV playlist didn't make it. I will have to recreate that which should be fun.

    1. Oh one other thing, I formatted the new i-pod on my Airbook which means I can't use it on my Dell computer at work! I had no idea that I-pods weren't compatible across mac v. pc. That's kind of a drag. #firstworldproblem

    *Notes:
    2. My least favorite song on the album, but it works better live, and on the Dolfish Live album.
    5. My attempted remix of a friend's high school band. The friend moved on and is now the lead member of A Whisper in the Noise. I doubt I introduced him to Arvo Pärt, but I probably did Philip Glass. (I got a Glass cassette at Ernie November's — Songs from Liquid Days — and found it ridiculous, and shared it with several people I knew. Glass has done better stuff though.)
    E. "Ain't no ridin' bareback anymore. / Ain't no takin' chances like before. / You don't agree with me you're out the door... honey. There ain't no ridin' bareback anymore." Reminds me of ZZ Top's "Cover Your Rig".

*Some of the files on my copy of "No Depression" are corrupted. I think that and "Mermaid Ave Vol. II" are the only things left to correct from the big HD crash from 2 years ago. Jeff Tweedy must be cursed.

**I typed too soon. This is corrupted too. Cuts off after about 20 seconds.
