  1. It was tough for this Wolves team to lose the Steamer, but I think they're going to be juuuuuuust fine.

    1. I think it's safe to say we'll score at least 38 points in every quarter for the rest of the season.

  2. JJ Barea-Corey Brewer lineup could lead to lots of chaos. that should be fun.

John Lackey has a great curveball working tonight.

  3. Fox, we don't need to see every swinging strike from five different camera angles. Especially the one embedded somewhere in the field.

  4. Here is another theory on why World Series ratings are down. They compete with with leagues, local teams. I love baseball, I like the Wolves too. I am splitting time between the two, and more on the Wolves because they are my local team.

  5. Alright, so maybe my statement about Turbo figuring out how to make those was premature.

  6. The Cards are going to need a dozen or so obstruction calls if they're going to win this game.

  7. I forgot that Bobby Jackson is now part of the Wolves coaching staff. Looking dapper in the second row

  8. If the Sox with this, I think that instead of the traditional champagne celebration in the clubhouse, they should all go after each other with razors instead.

      1. Some of them might need machetes. Buchholz, on the other hand, probably needs his face bathed in acid.

        1. Maybe they can spare some acid for my eyes after watching the end of this Wolves game.

Wait, Love just nailed a three to tie it- I might not need it!

  9. Have they started WS MVP voting yet?
I'm voting for Allen Craig, because I love it when the losing team gets MVP.

But Fangraphs tells me it's 99% certain that it's David Ortiz.

      1. Well, 99% certain tonight.
And I don't think they use more precision than single %s, so maybe 99.2% tonight, 0.4% tomorrow?

    1. wouldnt the Boston guys vote for the guy who got picked off base and basically won the Series for the Sox?

    1. That was supposed to be in response to sean above. It's not happening in this baseball game.

  10. Tim McCarver's on the TV. I have the sound off.
I'm still of the opinion that the problem in the Duo is Buck. McCarver is never pushed for more, different insight, whatever.
Jon Miller could do well with him. But hell, I thought Jon Miller did well with Joe Morgan.

  11. I forgot the Red Sox were in last place last year. While it's nice the 1991 Twins will be mentioned prominently for a while, it sucks that they aren't the only worst-to-first team anymore.

    1. but, in the Twins day there were only 4 total divisions and 1990 the Twins had the 4th worst record (Atlanta was the worst). Last year Boston had the 5th worst record, including 3 more than the Twins and 14 (!!) more than Houston.

      1. TK never liked the "worst-to-first" thing. He said, "We finished last. We weren't the worst."
