Australian Audit: Games of 11/22

A good day for Logan Wade.  Frawleys do well.  And we're all caught up!

CANBERRA 4, BRISBANE 3 IN CANBERRA

Twins:  Logan Wade (Sydney) was 2-for-3 with a walk and a double, driving in one.

Brisbane:  Brad Dutton was 2-for-4 with two runs.  Joey Rickard (Tampa Bay) was 1-for-3 with two walks and a double.

Canberra:  Jack Murphy (Toronto) was 3-for-4 with a double and a run.  Casey Frawley was 2-for-4 with two home runs.

The game:  Robbie Perkins (Colorado) hit a two-run single in the second and Frawley homered in the third to give Canberra a 3-0 lead.  It was still 4-1 Canberra going to the ninth.  Brisbane got two in the ninth and had runners on first and third with two out.

PERTH 7, MELBOURNE 2 IN PERTH

Melbourne:  Ryan Casteel (Oakland) was 2-for-4 with a home run.

Perth:  Jesse Barron was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.  Corey Adamson was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.  Jack Frawley pitched a complete game, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts.

The game:  Melbourne scored single runs in the second and third and led 2-1 after five.  In the sixth, Perth struck for four, aided by two errors, a hit batsman, and a wild pitch to lead 5-2.  Perth added a pair of runs in the eighth.
