Colorado places Michael Cuddyer on the fifteen-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain.

Houston transfers Jesse Crain from the fifteen-day disabled list to the sixty-day disabled list.

Mets organization (Class A St. Lucie) activates Jairo Perez from the disabled list.

Oakland organization (Class A Stockton) places Tim Atherton on the seven-day disabled list.

Philadelphia promotes Matt Tolbert from AA Reading to AAA Lehigh Valley.

Pittsburgh assigns Cody Eppley to AAA Indianapolis, then sends him to short-season Jamestown.

Reynosa of the Mexican League signs Yorman Bazardo.

Tijuana of the Mexican League liberates Randy Ruiz.

Toronto claims Darin Mastroianni off waivers from Minnesota and options him to AAA Buffalo.

Toronto selects the contract of Steve Tolleson from AAA Buffalo.

    1. I remember trying to keep track of Lew Ford when he was playing for Oaxaca. The word used for releasing someone from a contract in Spanish (I forget what it is off the top of my head) can also be translated as "liberate".
