2014 Game 91: Minnesota Twins vs. Seattle Mariners

Mariners trying an interesting strategy here and handing the game to their bullpen straight from the get-go. The Twins take the field behind their young right-hander Pino and look to go 75% in Seattle before they head to Colorado (because I guess the official game scheduler has a sense of humor).

It's a late one tonight, so make sure to brew an extra cup.

  1. Provus hyping the fact that the Twins challenge didn't take long at all, but I think it's all the Maybe We Should Challenge? / No Skip It The Video Confirms The Call non-challenge dallying around that takes the time.

    1. Yep, Parmelee walking the ball back towards the mound, Molitor picking up a certainly-unrelated phone call, Gardy taking an evening stroll in the general direction of the umpire and enjoying the crisp air of the Northwest- after that the challenge was pretty quick.

  2. Oof, glad Pino wiggled out of that one. Hope he doesn't get in that situation again tonight.

      1. Jones out on the base paths twice tonight, both times initially ruled safe and then overturned on review. I can't imagine that's happened before.
