Tonight's the annual event where we host video game tournaments for dorm dwellers at Luke Air Force Base. I'm running it this year, which should be fun (though I was told this yesterday, so I'm a tad overwhelmed at the moment).

I saw a reference to Perfume Genius a month or two ago and have been meaning to find out what it is.

I've now learned Perfume Genius is the stage name of one Mike Hadreas. His third album, Too Bright, was released earlier this year and his October appearance on Letterman marked his network TV debut.

Andy Oliver was drafted by Minnesota in the seventeenth round in 2006, but did not sign.

One of my favorite songs at Saturday's show was a moody, slowed down version of "Steve Earle" during the encore. She did it with the whole band that night, but this is the closest I could find to it.

December 2, 2014: Offseason moves, the Twins way
All I've heard about is the manager and coaches, improvements to Target Field and a hint about interest in Justin Masterson at some point in the past few weeks.... I'm happy they addressed the opening at the helm, but I'm interested in what they add on-field.
