  1. Yesterday I went to my local Indian grocery store (Cosmos) to get take-out to have for lunch today, as we were doing the Shamrock Duathlon in Glastonbury, CT and I thought we wouldn't want to cook. I often get tandoor chicken, rajbhog samosas (from NY, the best), chole, and naan.

They didn't have any tandoor. I asked the lady at the counter and she took me back to the spice aisle and pointed to a jar of tandoor sauce and said "use this with yoghurt, it's what we use".

So last night I topped off some chix breasts with the tandoor hooch and Greek yoghurt and let it set overnight.

After our Duathlon this morning, we stopped and got some naan at Whole Foods, and I figured I'll just make my own chole, and have fresh peas instead of samosas (fewer points on NBBW's WW scale).

My chole: ground cumin, ground coriander, fresh ginger, garlic, Asian chili sauce, tomato paste, garam masala, kosher salt, turmeric, chopped onion - heat until spices open up, add some water to make a paste, then a can of drained garbanzo beans. No oil (WW pts).

Tandoor chicken, fresh peas, chole in little naan sandwiches was a real treat.

    1. numnum.

I'd push for some oil (olive oil), however. Damn the WW points. Olive oil is good for you.

  2. No game log yet? Difficult to tell on mobile.

Last flights pre-surgery, then TSA gets an extra measure of complications . Rows, I'm thinking of Age of Ultron at Midtown tomorrow evening

  3. I heard a bit of a conversation on Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour today that mentioned that one of the biggest CD sales outlets happens to be...Cracker Barrel.

  4. 5 hour layovers in Newark international should be illegal. 'Cheap' beer at 10$ a pint. Holy moly.

    1. While waiting for my flight I struck up a conversation with a dude about how shitty the OTG industries iPad ordering interface is, and how the human service that accompanies the iPad interface is equally shitty. Turns out the dude is moving to
NOLA to start a brewery. Here's to hoping that that friendship pans out.
