  1. Dick and Jack Morris are happy to push the management-friendly message that the players need to be accountable.

    I'm shocked.

    1. This is awful. My take home from them: Eddie Rosario is the main problem - and he better hit because Mastrioinni is here!!!!

Nevermind the people who put you in the situation where Mastrioinni is anywhere near the major leagues, much less the answer to the problem...

  2. Its the bottom of the fist inning and Dick Bremer's will to call baseball games has been broken.

  3. Dang, Santana got a really good jump on that. Nice play by the catcher.

  4. I usually listen to the radio, but I'm watching TV. tonight. I knew Sano wasn't a good outfielder, but I hadn't realized how little ground he actually covers.

  5. Break up the White Sox. They've overcome the adversity of losing Drake so well.

  6. I dont like this world where the White Sox are not playing clown baseball against the Twins.

  7. The difference between the White Sox defense and the Twins defense is huge.

    1. It seems like there are at least two or three times every game where I think "What in the world are we doing?" That was one of those times.

    2. I wasn't really paying attention and had to rewind to make sure that's what really happened.

  8. FSN posted a graphic about Rosario's first year in the majors. .255/.277/.437. That OBP is painful. He has two fewer home runs than walks.

  9. Mauer grounds out to move to 0-4. The streak looks like it ends today. I think I'm most upset about that.

  10. Anyone in a White Sox uniform is pretty easy to dislike, but Brett Lawrie takes it to a new level with that mouthguard.

  11. There was bad luck involved, but if you bring in Abad to face a string of right-handed hitters you can't be surprised by this result.

  12. The way Trevor May was reacting, it looked like that was an unintential hit batter. He was hanging his head in shame was the benches starting to clear.

    1. Also, its not like Trevor May is the master of pinpoint control.

      Whatever I guess.

        1. Because you got to fire up the team
          stick up for your players
whatever subrule C is in the Unwritten Rules of Baseball
          !!11!

    2. Yeah, that really, really does not seem like it was intentional. He spun away and looked annoyed with himself when he saw the result.

      1. As I mentioned in my series recap, he led the league then in wild pitches. He has the magical zoomball except faster. A HBP would be entirely predictable.

  13. Morris talking about the good ol' days where you'd see six hit batters, four of them intentional.

    Because that's entertaining.

    1. Morris faced 16, 120 batters during regular season play. he hit 56 of them. 28 coming in his last 5 seasons of play (1990-1994). Jack Morris is full of crap.

      1. Also mentions that seven were intentional. Dick wisely doesn't respond.

        1. He had 10 in 1992 while he was pitching with Toronto. Maybe inflated because of the exchange rate.
