4. I had a dream last night that, out of nowhere, Joe Mauer had a career-ending health issue, ala Puckett or Gehrig. It made me quite sad.

      1. I bought it but haven't read it yet. I'm not big on history or nonfiction but thought I'd give it a shot. Size is daunting for me!

7. Anyone want to go to the Dinosaur Jr show in October?

   1. IIRC Dinosaur JR was that last show at Marty's Pizza in Mankato. Yeah, that was a long, long time ago.

8. I'm just back from Ireland, and I see that Allen Toussaint and Diarrhea Planet are on the front page of NPR's first listen . That's totes amaze.
