      1. Attaboy is better than Dazzle (not saying much), but a lot of times I think he tries too hard. He doesn't get a chance very often, so it's like he thinks he has to make a big impression, rather than just letting the game happen and dropping things in as they become relevant.

        1. Gameday says 98 but that seemed really high. (J) Santana's 17 K game scored a 95. I did the math and I get a 91. Going with a score of 91, it's the highest since Baker's near perfecto where he got a 93. That was in 2007. The best score after 2010 is Diamond's shutout in 2012 with an 88.

It ties five other games at 13th in Twins history for at most nine innings. Extending to all games and it's an eight-way tie at 15th.

          1. Johan only had 2 games that were 91 or better with the Twins. One of them was his 17K game. Liriano never had a game score that good with the Twins, including his no-hitter (6 walks and few Ks.)

    1. Well, with all those 2-out RBIs yesterday, regressing to the mean was overdue. Still, the Twins had no run-scoring hits with RISP and still scored 4 runs.
