  1. Darvish tries to stop the runs, also fails. Blue Jays scored two in the second on a Tulo home run. It is their only hit so far though.

  2. The Blue Jays hit a lot of home runs. The fifth inning: solo homer, pop out, solo homer, pop out, solo homer, ground out.

    1. I figured when the Blue Jays won the wild card game that they had a good shot at taking out the Rangers.

I'm much more surprised that the Spiders are beating up on the Red Sox. I figured that Cleveland's lack of depth and injury issues would rear their head a lot more.

      1. I picked the Rangers, Red Sox, and Nationals. I apparently used any semblance of good picking in the fantasy league so now I pay for it by getting everything wrong.

  3. Petunia lets an easy double play ball go straight through his legs, and the Spiders have a great shot at blowing the game wide open.

    1. Man, the more you say Spiders, the more I'm convinced of how completely amazing it would be if they changed their name to it. It has to be the most obvious name change in the history of sports, right?

  4. Kershaw v Scherzer, an anticipated matchup. So of course they combine to give up seven runs.

    1. They leave Jansen in to strike out for himself. Now he gets to face Turner, Harper, and Werth.

The playoffs have been very generous with big moments so far.

  5. Ugh, I was hoping I would be able to watch all of tonight's Giants-Cubs game but it's blacked out. Stupid Fox and ESPN.

    1. I think I'd like them to win because it seems like a fun team from a baseball perspective and we wouldn't have to hear about any curses anymore.

Although a historic meltdown the year they're the best team in the league is a fun story line too.

        1. I want the Cubs to win because I like this Cubs team. If their fans become obnoxious, that won't have changed that fact. I liked the 04 Red Sox, too. I'm still glad Pedro won a ring.

          1. Yeah, the 04 Red Sox postseason run was great, and remains great. No regrets there.

I still hope the Cubs do well. I want some great baseball played, and I want the best team to win. Plus, I like their manager.
