Sorry, don't have a lot of time so a couple quick points as we plunge into the 2nd half:
-Sano had the lead in All-Star voting but lost it at the last moment. Santana and he will represent the Twins this year.
-Meyer (whom I'm sure you know is having a decent year) is facing off against Mejia for the second time this year. Neither figured in the decision their first time.
-That's it. I just said "a couple".

I'm sitting above the Angels dugout, and Laz Diaz is really giving it to AMR's buddy already.
Diaz stops Alfredo Griffin on his way back to the dugout to have him remind Scioscia to STFU after the top of the second.
One box away from Twingo after the top of the first.
Andrelton Simmons saved a run with that play. wow!
On the balk, I wonder if the Twins had some insight on their former player and talked to the ump about watching for him moving the front knee first.
I was thinking the same thing.
Scioscia mouthing off about Mejia's pickoff moves...
See if you can have that yahoo tossed, will ya?
Diaz with a long, animated conversation with Simmons and Yunel Escobar between innings in which I think he was telling them that Espinosa is on thin ice the rest of the day.
Still no Twingo...
Quick, off the top of your head: Who has driven in more runs so far this season, Joe or Kepler?
Who has more HR's tonight?
yeah, perfect timing.
hey Rows -- supper next week? Wednesday?
Yeah, Wednesday should work.
pick the place. got a present for you too, btw
How 'bout the Matt, about 6:30?
you bet
think you're behind by at least a game
BR is my memory.
Jersey/shirsey count:
Sano 3
Buxton 2
Trout 2
Span 3 (including pixie vest)
Morneau 4
Carew 5
Jimmy Rollins
Howie Kendrick
Leighton Baines (!)
Steve Liddle
Mauer 11
Dozier 3
Puckett 2
Pujols
Hunter
Kepler
Arcia
Perkins
Radke
Josh Hamilton
Trumbo
Kennys Vargas gets me Twingo
Mejia not just through 6 solid, but with few enough pitches to where he could conceivably come out for the seventh
and a nice lead
...is that allowed?
Joe "In play, no out" Mauer!
Miguel "In play, runs" Sano! padding the pre-AS stats
Quick, off the top of your head: Who has a higher batting average so far this season, Joe or Rosario?
Huge ifs, of course, but if Mauer could get his average above .300, and could do that for two or three seasons, he just might get into the Hall of Fame after all.
I'd like that, but not sure he would be a Twin after his contract runs out. There are limits to how much less he can earn per year than his current contract, and no way he's offered near $23M. He'll have to go through free agency. I'd like to think he'll remain though
That was interesting
Watching with the sound off, but clown-car music running through my internal-audio.
Uhm ... K
edit - as in, "Okay then..."
Aw, Belisle could have given up that HR.
Q: How are the LAAngels like the Red River of the North?
Okay, I feel this needs to be discussed:
Nah.
Is that who that was? They put them on the Kiss Cam, and it went over my head.
Its probably a good idea to keep people who have had too many vodkas off of tv.
I love Buxton,
Aw, Belisle could have given up that HR.
the Duffster hasn't been himself lately...
This ... now this is fun.
Hilarious trip around the bases for Sano
Telecast showing his face suggests he thought so too.
TWINS FREAKIN' BASEBALL
These extra runs are nice considering the performance of the bullpen of late.
Scioscia pulling Espinosa here. So, he didn't take a single pitch after Diaz chatted with his other infielders.
