I see that hungry joe has a draft post, but I don't have any ability to publish it, so this will have to do. hj, if you want to import what you wrote here and delete this, feel free to do so. Go Twins!

Half an inning and we're still tied!
Didn't have much to say:
One inning and still tied!
Greeneville scores once in the top of the first. Elizabethton scores five in the bottom of the first and is still batting. The E-Twins need to win to stay alive in the best-of-three series.
Buxton steal! Let's see more of that!
The E-Twins add one more and lead 6-1 after one inning. J. J. Robinson had a three-run homer in the inning.
Twins are on the board!
Buxton is scary good. Over the last couple months, you can see why the hype was so big for him when he was in the minors. If the Rays continue to shift on defense for him the way they did his first time up, I hope he bunts it hard down the first base line for a double (or more).
Only 23 years old.
joak/nonjoak
Greeneville scores in the top of the second on a double and two singles. 6-2 Elizabethton after one and a half.
Two innings and still tied!
Le menu at a Chez Hayes tonight.
Yum.
E-Twins don't score in the second. Still 6-2 through two.
This Cobb guy is Pelfrey-esque in his pace. Yeesh.
Two and a half innings and still tied!
If I was running the PA, Lucas Duda's walk-up music would be "The Camptown Races".
Nice, Chaps.
E-Twins score on a sac fly in the third. 7-2 Elizabethton after three.
Atteberry gave us kind of an anti-Gordo there.
E-Twins still lead 7-2 through four.
Nice play by Rosario!
Time to get Berrios some runs!
Twins have nothing against Cobb right now.
Except Mauer.
That's because his wind up takes half an inning per pitch.
Twins offense is looking pretty helpless tonight so far.
Joe Mauer double. Hohum
395.
Does he get 400 by Columbus Day?
One double closer to 400!
Greeneville scored one in the top of the fifth to cut the lead to 7-3, but the Twins responded with five in the bottom of the fifth to go up 12-3. Kolton Kendrick hit a two-run homer. It's kind of been a bullpen game for the E-Twins, with starter Brusdar Graterol going three innings and Melvi Acosta coming in for the next two (so far). They certainly should be able to piece together the last four innings somehow.
Brusdar... Melvi...you're just making them up now
Isn't the runner out for hitting Garver?
According to Provus, Garver didn't give the runner a lane to the plate.
Greeneville scored two in the seventh and is still batting. 12-5 now.
Greeneville is out in the seventh. Still 12-5.
There's the bullpen I remember.
Going to need an eight run inning.
MIght as well get 'em all out of our system tonight.
This Curtiss guy has been in a few games, but I've don't recall him pitching.
But he looks like he can pitch!
DOZIER with a rally killer
Dozier has score at least 1 run 6 of the last 7 games, 10 runs total.
83 on the season, he might get to 100
Well, it's a start, I guess.
Akil Baddoo hits a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh. Elizabethton now leads 14-5.
Greeneville gets four straight singles in the eighth to score two. The E-Twins now lead 14-7.
Weird. I assumed retired pitchers weren't allowed to pitch. Are the Rays letting Perkins pitch as a courtesy to save the bullpen?
Plouffe! sighting.
Came sort of close to a 9-2 forceout.
I hope Perkins gets the rust out of his system during these blowout games and comes back healthy and better next year.
Elizabethton wins 14-7. The third and final game of the series will be played tomorrow night.
Good time for the eight-run inning.
SEND HIM!!
Byron Buxton has never successfully stolen 3rd base.
So - it's back to the bullpen issues again
The Twins problem will be keeping themselves in games they are trailing since they have to save any good relieves for when they are tied or in the lead. It's the main reason they're Pythag is off from their actual record.
So - it's back to the bullpen issues again
