      1. Fair enough. Its still always a danger that the Gibsoning will continue, though.

    1. That was the most non-Gibson start. Gave up a few runs but still had a quality start. Usually, he either doesn't give up anything or gets hammered.

  1. Foxsports is trying to make me unexcited for the Twins by playing shitty music over the commercial for the Twins.

  2. It probably wasn't this, but when I see "Byron Buxton doubles on a ground ball to the center fielder", I imagine that he simply got a stand up double on a normal base hit straight to the center fielder.

    1. No, it was pretty much that. It wasn't a stand up but he still had no business getting a double there.

    1. Guess not. I've missed a lot of the game, but the couple of parts I've been around for have featured some bad batting by the Twins.

  3. Dick trolling Bert on robot umps again.

(I am extremely surprised that Dick is in favor or electronic strike zones.)

  4. I know games like this happen, and I know Fulmer is good enough to have a game like this once in a while. Still, I can't help feeling this is a game the Twins should've won and let get away from them, and that's happened far too often already this season.

    1. Fulmer is very legit. No shame in getting shut down by him but especially when your bottom 4 are Cave, Adrianza, Wilson and Buxton. Buxton is at least starting to hit some and legged out a double but the bottom half of that lineup was ugly. That being said, Fulmer was still throwing 97 after getting to 100 pitches.

      1. In this game, the bottom four were no uglier than the top five minus Rosario. Dozier had the leadoff double and that was it other than a couple of walks.

        1. Yes, but seeing all 4 guys at the bottom hitting .220 or lower is pretty discouraging in late May.
