  1. I was trying to think why you thought Mike Minor pitched for Detroit. All I could come up with was Mike Myers, who pitched for them from 1995-97. That was a long time ago now, though, although it doesn't seem that long ago to me.

  2. Down 4-0. I have very serious doubts about the ability of this offense to score five runs.

  3. If things hold, it's a good night on the farm. Rochester leads Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 3-1 in the eighth (Byron Buxton hit a three-run homer, but is 1-for-4 and struck out twice). Chattanooga hasn't started yet due to rain. Fort Myers defeated Bradenton 14-7 (Sano was 0-for-4 with two walks). Cedar Rapids and Wisconsin are tied 2-2 in the sixth (Bailey Ober struck out nine in five innings). Elizabethton leads Bristol 8-5 in the sixth (Ryan Jeffers is 3-for-3 with a double and a walk and is now batting .714 (10-for-14)). The GCL Twins defeated the GCL Red Sox 2-0 (Jose Gonzalez with five scoreless innings). The lone dark spot is the DSL Twins, who lost to the DSL Yankees 14-3 (Ruben Santana was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.

  4. Dick trying his very hardest to avoid answering Jack's latest GOML question.

    1. Hilariously terrible Twins reunion tours of completely washed up players ranked (by comedy value):

      1. Mike Trombley
      2. Jason Bartlett
      3. Jesse Orosco
      4. Jason Kubel
      5. Matt Belisle
      6. Eddie Guardado
