I checked up on my rare bird sighting report, and I've been told it's been unanimously accepted, but won't appear in Audubon publication until Spring 2019.
Sounds about right... 5-season lag? I received the latest seasonal report from the MOU, and it covers spring 2017 (5 seasons ago).
I had thought KBD wouldn't be a terrible pick at 20, so getting him at 48 is nice.
Geoff was celebrating what a great pick the Jazz made and compared the guy (favorably) to John Stockton. I told him I would frame that claim and bring it back for all the times he swore at him over the next three seasons. He laughed.
Royce Lewis, SS, Twins (No. 18 to No. 13)
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 Draft has been everything expected offensively and better than anticipated at shortstop.
From MLBs mid-season prospect list update.
.309/.347/.469 in Cedar Rapids. Turned nineteen two and a half weeks ago. Yeah, he's doing pretty well so far.
Just for a comparison, Buxton hit .341/.431/.559 at Cedar Rapids in his age 19 season in 68 games with a 56/44 K/BB ratio. Lewis has a 39/14 K/BB ratio in 56 games. Lewis is probably not going to hit for the power that Buxton can, so his future upside on offense is contingent on his ability to reach base. I'm glad he's not striking out as much, but will definitely want to see him walk more as he advances.
He has things to work on, no doubt. But he's still doing pretty well so far.
Cant wait for him to return to the big leagues
🚨MUST WATCH🚨
This is just down right unbelievable.
Byron Buxton singled on a hard lined drive to left field and landed on second.
As of today, doesn't look like Eduardo Escobar will require a DL stint. Still some soreness, but all things considered the Twins might have dodged one there.
Seinfeld loved Koko
And Robin Williams. And Mr. Rogers. And a slew of folks
I got to see Koko in concert once.
Taylor made joak right there.

Sounds like the Wolves had a pretty solid and smart night. I saw someone on the Tweeter congratulate the Wolves for drafting not Grayson (haven't checked FB, is Geoff okay?).

No worries about Escobar now!
Yves Ubelmann on Microsoft AI ad. Any relation to our guy?
