    1. Geoff was celebrating what a great pick the Jazz made and compared the guy (favorably) to John Stockton. I told him I would frame that claim and bring it back for all the times he swore at him over the next three seasons. He laughed.

  1. Royce Lewis, SS, Twins (No. 18 to No. 13)
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 Draft has been everything expected offensively and better than anticipated at shortstop.

From MLBs mid-season prospect list update.

      1. Just for a comparison, Buxton hit .341/.431/.559 at Cedar Rapids in his age 19 season in 68 games with a 56/44 K/BB ratio. Lewis has a 39/14 K/BB ratio in 56 games. Lewis is probably not going to hit for the power that Buxton can, so his future upside on offense is contingent on his ability to reach base. I'm glad he's not striking out as much, but will definitely want to see him walk more as he advances.

  2. Cant wait for him to return to the big leagues
