  1. Got the first set of our Christmas newsletter printed, and my briefcase is loaded with all the fixin's to get a batch of Christmas cards ready to mail, so I consider this a work flight.

  2. headline seen on my Google News feed: "Should the Timberwolves Trade for Michael Beasley?"

    Ummmmm...no.

  3. late night viewing alert. apparently YouTube is streaming some Aussie Baseball League games free on their site.

  4. Saw the Wolves play tonight. My impression was that Jeff Teague was actively hurting the team. Like, I’m not sure he got Towns the ball once all game.

      1. Rose was nearly doing whatever he wanted on the offensive end. I would still limit his minutes to keep him from exploding, but he’s been ridiculously effective.

If they had a good pass-first PG, I wonderhow much more they could get out of Towns and even Wiggins. Like the problem with Towns seemed to be he just never got the ball—for all the objections about him not being aggressive enough or whatever, he seemed willing enough to get a shot off when he got the ball. And Wiggins takes shots sometimes like he has the mindset he’s not sure when he’s going to get the ball again. That contract is bad, but they should be able to get more than this out of him.

        1. Yup.

I never understood the Teague signing. He struck me as the weak link in an excellent Atlanta team (that imploded almost as fast as it was put together).

          1. If only they were some pg who was great at passing and getting guys good looks and who's contact was a few million less than Teague's...
