March 18, 2019: Keep Harping

Sorry to do the title thing on this, but how is Wiggins still a starter? He is just beyond awful right now. Just tossing up clangers all over the place and that's IF it actually comes close to hitting the rim (or he doesn't turn it over).

  1. I was only half paying attention to the Wolves game last night. Wiggins was awful, which almost hid the fact that Bayless and Jones were awful. In a blink, a game that the Wolves led most of the first half turned into a runaway.

    1. Next year will be awesome when they're paying him max money while he has a negative ws/48.

  2. I think the Wolves look Wiggins in the eye and ask him if he'll try hard. He keeps answering "yes" so they keep starting him.

    1. I mean, that's literally what he did to get the max contract offer, so I'd say you are correct.

    1. I've been to Kaufman, Yankee, and Petco. None are close to Target. I'd put Yankee Stadium down with New Comiskey.

      1. I've been to Kaufman as well and I'd call it the most overrated stadium in baseball. Its... fine, but its not some amazing place to watch a game and the fountain is pretty ugly when its not fountaining. It was also 105º that day, so that might bias me a bit.

        1. I've been there too long ago to comment, knowing they did a slew of updates to it since then, but the 300F temps on the expansive parking lot pavement is pretty unpleasant

          1. I was by myself so I fortunately didn't really have to deal with that. The tailgaters did look pretty miserable though. I got super lucky that my seat was under the overhang.

        2. If you consider when Kaufman was built and grade it on a curve, it's pretty good. I enjoy the park. I just don't see that there is any way you'd put it up near Target Field, much less ahead of it.

        1. Co-sign. I haven’t been there since 2006, but it was clearly the best ballpark in Southern California.

Coors Field is also quite underrated here. No way I’d go back to Wrigley or Dodger Stadium if I could have tickets at Coors instead.

Both Petco & Coors are in the mix for top five in my book.

      1. That's gotta be why Dodgers are 25 spots above the Angels. Not saying Angels Stadium is all that great (I'd put it firmly in the mediocre range), but Dodger Stadium isn't really much better. The view is looking out of the stadium nicer in Los Angeles than it is in Anaheim, but that's about the only notable difference.

    2. Miller Park is way too high. It should lose seven or eight spots just for the terrible lack of air flow through the stadium.

      1. Also, "Bernie the Brewer? C'mon man that's like saying Zap the Rowsdower, it's just wrong.

      2. Whoever made this list must not have actually seen a game in Milwaukee. I fully expected Miller to be 27, 28 or 29, with Oakland of course being 30.
