Brent Rooker's RBI single in the eighth broke a 6-6 tie.  Willians Astudillo was 4-for-5 with two runs and is batting .600.  Luis Arraez was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs and is batting .351.  Jake Cave was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs and is batting .315.  Wilin Rosario was 2-for-5 with a double and is batting .302.  The Red Wings are 30-34, in fourth place, 7.5 games back.

PENSACOLA 5, TENNESSEE 4 IN PENSACOLA (11 INNINGS)

Travis Blankenhorn's RBI single in the eleventh broke a 4-4 tie.  Blankenhorn was 2-for-6.  Michael Davis was 1-for-3 with two walks.  Tom Hackimer struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up a hit and a walk.  Zack Weiss struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.  The Blue Wahoos are 38-30, in second place, two games back, and have been eliminated.

The Kernels scored two in the first and led all the way.  Jared Akins was 2-for-4.  Josh Winder pitched seven innings, giving up one run on six hits and a walk and striking out three.  Derek Molina struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.  The Kernels are 37-31, in third place, six games back, but just one game out of a wild card.  Their elimination number is two.

DSL ROCKIES 8, DSL TWINS 3 AT ROCKIES

The Rockies scored six runs in the first inning.  Miguel Angel Vallejo was 3-for-5 with a double and is batting .313.  Alexander Pena was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and is batting .318.  Jose Andujar was 2-for-4.  Hector Acevedo was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk.  The Twins are 6-4, tied for fourth, 1.5 games back.
