INDIANAPOLIS 6, ROCHESTER 3 IN INDIANAPOLIS

Jason Martin's three-run triple in the sixth broke a 1-1 tie.  Brandon Barnes was 2-for-4 with a home run (his twenty-sixth) and a double.  Zander Weil was 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs.  Ronald Torreyes was 2-for-4.  Lewis Thorpe struck out four in three innings, giving up one run on two hits and no walks.  Adam Bray struck out two in two innings, giving up a hit and a walk.  The Red Wings are 60-60, in third place, five games back.

CHATTANOOGA 6, PENSACOLA 3 IN PENSACOLA

The Lookouts scored four in the third to break a 2-2 tie.  Jovani Moran pitched 1.1 scoreless innings despite giving up a hit and three walks.  He struck out one.  Andrew Vazquez struck out three in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Jonathan Cheshire pitched two shutout innings, giving up  a hit and a walk.  His ERA is zero.  Alex Phillips struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.  The Blue Wahoos are 25-24, in third place, 6.5 games back.

ST. LUCIE 7, FORT MYERS 4 IN FORT MYERS (GAME 1--7 INNINGS)

The Miracle led 4-3 through five, but the Mets scored three in the sixth.  David Banuelos was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.  Cole Sands pitched five innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks and striking out four.  His ERA is 2.25.

FORT MYERS 3, ST. LUCIE 2 IN FORT MYERS (GAME 2--9 INNINGS)

RBI singles in the second extra inning by Yeltsin Encarnacion and Gabriel Maciel won it for the Miracle.  Taylor Grzelakowski was 2-for-4 with a double.  Dakota Chalmers struck out nine in six innings, giving up an unearned run on three hits and a walk.  Zach Neff struck out three in three innings, giving up an unearned run on two hits and a walk.  The Miracle is 27-26, tied for third, 11.5 games back.

CEDAR RAPIDS KERNELS

PULASKI 1, ELIZABETHTON 0 IN ELIZABETHTON (8 INNINGS--RAIN)

The game's lone run scored in the fourth on a pickoff error by the Twins' catcher.  The Twins had just three hits, but the Yankees had only two.  Cody Laweryson struck out five in five innings, giving up an unearned run on two hits and a walk.  His ERA is 1.50.  Tyler Beck struck out five in three perfect innings.  His ERA is 0.90.  The Twins are 27-26, in second place, one game back.

GCL TWINS 3, GCL RAYS 2 AT TWINS (GAME 1--8 INNINGS)

Wander Valdez delivered a two-out single to drive in the deciding run.   The Twins used a pair of rehabbing pitchers as "co-openers".  Stephen Gonsalves struck out two in a perfect inning.  Trevor Hildenberger gave up a run on two hits in an inning.  Miguel Rodriguez then pitched six innings, giving up one run on four hits and a walk and striking out five.  His ERA is 1.00.

GCL TWINS 3, GCL RAYS 0 AT RAYS (GAME 2--5 1/2 INNINGS--RAIN)

The Twins scored all three of their runs in the second inning.  Niklas Rimmel pitched a five inning "complete game", giving up no runs on four hits and no walks and striking out four.  His ERA is 2.48.  The Twins are 25-15, in second place, 1.5 games back.  They are first in the wild card race, leading the GCL Tigers West by 1.5 games.
