St. Paul was rained out at Iowa. They will play a doubleheader tomorrow.
Wichita and Northwest Arkansas are scoreless through five and a half. Jordan Balazovic has struck out seven in six innings, giving up five hits and no walks. The Wind Surge has just one hit, a single by B. J. Boyd in the fourth inning.
Cedar Rapids trails Peoria 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth. The Chiefs' runs came on a two-run homer in the second inning.
Fort Myers trails St. Lucie 2-1 in the bottom of the eighth. The Mighty Mussels are out-hitting the Mets 7-3. Aaron Sabato is 2-for-3. Osiris German has struck out five in three shutout innings of relief.
