  1. Choice.

      1. I am closer and closer every day to never attending another major American sporting event

      2. You think that's spendy. It looks like the Field of Dreams tix of White Sox v. Yankees are $375 each (with fees).

    1. I'm working the Hella Mega Tour concert specifically so I don't have to work the Winter Classic.

    1. As mentioned, not a birder. We just have a couple of feeders right next to the kitchen window, but it's been fun fumbling though some identifications. This simple chart we have next to the window has been a huge help actually:

            1. I’ve always liked crows. I made friends at our previous place, but they just don’t show up by the current house that often.

      1. I've seen most of these in our neighborhood, too, except for the tufted titmouse and maybe the purple finch. And I have to go to the pond half a mile away to see red wing blackbirds.

        1. I never saw a titmouse in the Twin Cities but I do see them all the time here in CT. I had to take down the bird feeders last month because of the mysterious illness affecting birds so it's been a while since any birds have visited.

          1. We have a Tufted Titmouse at the feeder this year. Never saw them before. Also have never seen in Scandia, MN.

        2. Yeah, I think we're missing those two as well. And exact same, the park and pond with the RWBs are about a half mile away (though we've seen one or two in the yard before).

    2. Currently in Florida for vacation. Seen a good number of lifers, including a Brown-headed Nuthatch, which was also a lifer for my more experienced guide.

  2. Early farm report:

St. Paul has overcome a 4-1 deficit to lead Indianapolis 6-4 in the sixth. Jimmy Kerrigan is 3-for-3 with two homers.
Wichita leads Tulsa 5-0 in the third. The Wind Surge has hit four home runs. Bryan Sammons has pitched two perfect innings.
Cedar Rapids leads Peoria 3-0 in the fourth. Ben Gross has struck out six in three innings.
Fort Myers trails Bradenton 3-1 in the third. Landon Leach has not allowed a hit, but has hit five batters, walked three, and balked. Aaron Sabato homered for the Fort Myers run.
