Three pitchers combined to no-hit the Saints.  Ex-Twin Chase De Jong pitched seven of the innings, striking out nine.

Cole Sands struck out five in five innings, giving up one run on three hits and a walk.
Jovani Moran struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up a walk.
Jordan Gore pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and a walk.
Ryan Mason pitched a perfect inning and struck out one.

The Saints are 5-3, tied for second place with three teams, one game behind Indianapolis.

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS 8, WICHITA 5 IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS

The Naturals scored four in the seventh to break a 4-4 tie.

Austin Martin was 2-for-4.
Andrew Bechtold was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk.
Dennis Ortega was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer.

Starter Matt Canterino pitched 1.2 innings, giving up two runs on three hits and four walks and striking out two.
Ben Gross pitched 4.1 innings, giving up two runs on five hits and a walk and striking out three.
Evan Sisk pitched a perfect inning and struck out one.

The Wind Surge is 0-5, in fifth (last) place in the Texas League North, four games behind Tulsa.

The Kernels are 4-0, in first place in the Midwest League West, one game ahead of Wisconsin.

FORT MYERS 6, JUPITER 4 IN FORT MYERS

Kyle Schmidt hit a three-run homer in a five-run third that gave the Mighty Mussels a 6-4 lead.

Schmidt was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer.
Kyler Fedco was 2-for-4 with a double.

Starter Steve Hajjar struck out six in three innings, but allowed four runs on four hits and two walks.
Jackson Hicks struck out three in two perfect innings.
John Wilson struck out three in two shutout innings, giving up a walk.
Regi Grace struck out five in two shutout innings, giving up two hits.

The Mighty Mussels are 5-0, in first place in the Florida State League West, one game ahead of Bradenton and Tampa.

  1. Edouard Julien and Keoni Cavaco have each been placed on the seven-day disabled list. I don't have any information about why.
