Tim Beckham singled home the deciding run in the ninth.

Jermaine Palacios was 3-for-4 with a home run (his seventh), a double, and two runs.
Jake Cave was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk.
Spencer Steer was 2-for-5.
Beckham was 2-for-5.
Jose Godoy was 1-for-3 with a home run (his third) and a walk.

Starter Mario Sanchez pitched four innings, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk and striking out four.
Ronny Henriquez struck out four in four shutout innings, giving up five hits.
Michael Feliz pitched a perfect inning.

The Saints are 45-49, in seventh place in the International League West, a percentage point behind sixth-place Gwinnett, 12.5 games behind Nashville.

WICHITA 10, NORTHWEST ARKANSAS 2 IN WICHITA

Christian Encarnacion-Strand hit a three-run homer in the third to give the Wind Surge a 4-2 lead.

Kyle Schmidt was 3-for-4 with three runs.
Ernie Yake was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs.
DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 2-for-5 with a double.
Andrew Bechtold was 1-for-3 with a home run (his thirteenth) and two walks.
Encarnacion-Strand was 1-for-4 with a three-run homer (his fourth) and a walk.
Edouard Julien was 1-for-4 with a three-run homer (his tenth) and a walk.

Sawyer Gipson-Long pitched seven innings, giving up two runs on four hits and no walks and striking out six.  He threw seventy-four pitches.

The Kernels are 15-12, in second place in the Midwest League West, three games behind South Bend.  The Kernels won the first-half championship.

Kyle Battle hit a three-run homer in the ninth to break a 2-2 tie.

Daniel Ozoria was 2-for-4.

Marco Raya pitched five innings, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks and striking out two.
Jackson Hicks struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

The Mighty Mussels are 10-15, in fifth place in the Florida State League West, one game behind fourth-place Lakeland, eight games behind Tampa.  The Mighty Mussels won the first-half championship.
