Crazy night. Tornado warning and storm hit right at the end of the seventh. When the grounds crew dragged the tarp out it started to parachute on them and a bunch of other guys had to jump in to help. I was out in left field and we had to get everyone out of the seats and onto the concourse for the tornado warning and we were pretty full up, 28K expected . Fifty minutes later the game resumed, we tied it up, went to extra innings, and I saw one of the dumbest Twins wins in recent memory. I mean, that poor pitcher, they intentionally load the bases and then he has to throw strikes in the rain with a wet, slippery baseball? Good managing, that.

The Giants gave them the tie in 9th too. Like I said, I'll take the W.
The Twins are closer to the AL Central lead (3 games back) than they are earning a Wild Card slot (4 games back)

Since joining the San Diego Padres, Josh Hader has thrown 4.2 innings and allowed 12 runs on 12 hits with seven walks and eight strikeouts. An absolutely brutal stretch that may have seen its nadir today, with six earned runs in one-third of an inning. His season ERA is now 6.52.
Also Taylor Rogers is a mess (one reason they went out and got Hader). What’s up with Padre’s bullpen strategy?
